Defibrilator Evening

On the 13th of July we held a fundraising evening to highlight the addition of the new defibrillator mounted to the exterior of the nursery and to raise funds for the British heart foundation, we had a very informative evening with a talk from Bernard on the use of the defibrillator and the need to use CPR and how to gain access to the device itself.

A total of £503.00 was raised through a raffle and a cake sale.

Easter.

This week we have been preparing for the Easter break, the children have been making chocolate cornflake nests complete with eggs, drawing lots of pictures of chickens, bunnies and eggs, the tuff trays have also been full of easter themes, again chicks and eggs dominating their play, today they had dark brown playdough looked quite a bit like chocolate, none tried eating it though.
